At 220 lumens, this is the brightest LED bulb I have found. Amazingly, it projects as much usable light as my SureFire halogen with Lithium 123 batteries. If you know high-tech flashlights, that will impress you.
Aluminum construction seems quite rugged, yet it is fairly light weight (less than I expected anyway) and comfortable to hold. Since the pivoting joint could not be metal, it is reassuring that it is nylon and not cheap plastic.
I would have liked the on/off button on the handle, but the location on the bottom is thoughtfully recessed so that the flashlight stands up quite securely. The base also has two holes if one wanted to slip a lanyard onto it -- a good feature if you need that extra element of security.
Not cheap, even with STP's substantial discount, but it offers excellent value. I've ordered a second flashlight to keep in my car's glove compartment.

I use this light while duck hunting. I clip this light on to my waders which allows me hands free mobility to set decoys or to just walk in the dark to the duck blind. I also use a headlamp. This light blasts the night. It is lightweight and bright. It works well. PS I also use it inside my enclosed trailer that I use for goose hunting since I do not have any permanent light inside the trailer.
