This just arrived the other day, and so far seems to be a great purchase. Very bright beam that has both high and low settings. It appears to be solidly constructed - my only hesitation at this point about the construction quality is the fact that the batteries snap into a plastic housing that slides into the body. Time will tell how well that plastic holds up, but hopefully it'll be fine if handled with care. I'm also a bit skeptical of flashlights with 'push button' on/off switches (several have broken on me), but hopefully that's not an issue either. It's a little heavier and bigger than the average pocket flashlight (too bulky to comfortably fit into most pockets without noticing the size / weight), but to me that also makes it feel solidly built. I think it'll be a great light to have around the house and for car camping, and the fact that it has multiple positions and can stand on it's own is a bonus. I'm considering purchasing another one. My only reason not to give 5 stars at this point is to see how it holds up after some use ...

The light doesn't work. The battery set up is weird--you need to install 3 AAA batteries into a cradle type setup first. I tried fresh batteries, and each time the batteries would get hot but the light wouldn't turn on. It wouldn't even feel safe if it turns on, I think. It's not a cheap flashlight, so you're better off buying a trusty maglite instead.
