    The "rough" fabric one critic cited is a plus to me--smoothes out bumps and lumps underneath. With a lot of knits, I can see a mole on my upper arm through the fabric. This fabric flows. It is heavy enough not to billow, and it doesn't cling; it skims in a very flattering way. Not hot, either--and I'm in SC.

    This is a great dress -- emphasizes curves, easy to wear, great for travel, very versatile (with a jacket to work, with a belt, etc.) The petite isn't really petite, though, more like normal length.

    I purchased this for an October wedding in NY. After trying it on, I realized it didn't flatter anything I have going for me. I returned it and am still looking for an appropriate, flattering dress. If you have curves and aren't petite, this will likely work for you.

    The fabric is very revealing in that it hugs your body. Not a dress for the faint of heart. It covers everything--not low cut or revealing in that way. But every bulge, line and bump is visible. I am not a sexy dresser and would probably have sent this back if it were not so affordable (would have paid 25% of the price to ship it back). As it is, I will be motivated to work out, buy a one piece foundation and give it a try at a party.
