    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Attractive mocha colored vest fine for under jacket or over sweater for layered warmth or just causal wear . It is quilted, but it is not evident that there is very much polyester or other insulation quilted unless it is in a sheer, gossamer layer. Destined as a gift for nephew liking such things and unlikely to detect absence of insulation.
