Irish Setter Cedar Creek Boots - 6", Waterproof Insulated (For Men)

I just started using these boots as winter arrived, and I agree with other comments that they are a bit difficult to put on. I expect this to improve with usage. They are definitely warm, and I would recommend them.

Got these to use for my cold weather motorcycle rides to work and to leave on at the office. They look good (good enough for a casual office) and are good for most cool/cold/rainy weather. I would not take these on too strenuous of a hike. The laces are just elastic (no tie), which I replaced with a regular lace (did not want them coming off in a crash).

Shoe is very uncomfortable, especially the sole. This may change after the break-in period. I would recommend inserts. For what I paid, I cannot complain too much. Don't expect a top of the line boot, these are not it. I can live with the lacing system. But for what I would pay for a boot at [...] these boots are worth it.

I bought these so I dont have to lug around my caribou`s on overseas ski trips,they seem very comfortable,light weight and warm.

Amazingly low price for this well made pair of waterproof, thinsulate lined boots. Things I don't like about them are that they lack much in the way of arch support, they're bulky, and with wet soles they squeak on hard surface floors. I stuck some orthotics I've had in the boots and now they fit properly vis-a-vis arch support. These boots are made by RedWing, like Vasque, but make no mistake, these are not as good a shoe as a Vasque hiking boot.

These boots are an excellent value at the sale price,but due to the lacing system that won't allow you to loosen the laces to the extent needed,they are difficult to put on.I am guessing that this will improve as the boots get broken in. Otherwise this is an excellent all around boot that I plan on using for winter hiking and snowshoeing. Just don't plan on throwing them on in a two seconds.They do come off much easier than they go on.I would also recommend ordering a half size larger than normal.

I have only limited use of these boots at this point. They seem comfortable, but entry/exit is slow and inconvenient.

We bought these for a ski trip, but will use them for all cold weather. Liner removes for milder weather. Good looking, true to picture!

Seems great for cold weather hicking or hunting.
