The vest is very nice, would buy it again and recommend to others. Seems to be well made and true to size, too. No cons I can think of.

This is a really nice wool vest. It is warm, well-designed. Wears really well on weekends and to the university where I teach with a tie. Good quality.

I'm an outdoorsman, but not a hunter. I bought this as an alternative to fleece. I wanted something windproof and this seems to be that. The wool blend face is soft and attractive. The color matches well with the new Boy Scout uniform pants. The sherpa fleece lining is very warm and adds a bit of thickness and "heft" to the vest. The coverage is good, the hem cinch can tighten up the bottom and the double zipper can ease the fit when crouching. No other features except simple, open pockets. Good gear - and attractive enough to wear as casual dress.
    • Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Climate
    • Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy to layer, Warm
    • Sizing: Feels true to size
    • Was this a gift?: No
