Irish Setter Kenora Sandals (For Men)

Nice design, took a little breaking in to soften and adjust. A bit heavier in overall weight do to very durable sole material. I have gotten used to the weight and enjoy the ventilation the openings provide. I also like the zipper closures.

I have numerous pairs of sandals in this same style, with the enclosed toe. I was very pleased to find this wide width available in this shoe until I got them and could not zip them up. There is absolutely NO arch support. I call shoes like this Linoleum soles!! They look good, fit very poorly, and have poor insoles.

I wear these fishing when it is hot. They provide the coolness of a sandal with the support and protection of a hiking shoe.

I use them on the beach or on the river. Good support for carrying the boat, and a fact dry.

I bought these shoes for my trip to Cambodia & Thailand and needed something comfortable for LOTS of walking and easy removal ... can't wear shoes in the temples. Much to my surprise the zipper stitching came undone the very first day; luckily I travel with an emergency sewing kit. After a quick repair job they handled everything I threw at them (3 wks of traipsing through fields, unpaved roads, beaches and finally Bangkok) quite nicely. [...]All in all, they're a very good shoe and I would recommend to anyone who asked for my opinion. That being said, I would also tell them that the shoes tend to run a size too big.
