This is a great boot for warm weather hunting. I wore a pair of these for a month straight cruising timber along the gulf coast region of Texas and Lousiana and they held up well. The tread pattern could be a little more aggressive.

THIS IS A HELL OF A BOOT WITH ALL THE FEATURES A BIRD HUNTER SEEKS. COMFORTABLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, WATERPROOF, LIGHT, WITHOUT INSULATION, IDEAL FOR WARM TO MILD CLIMATES. ONLY THE BOOT SOLE IS NOT AGRESSIVE ENOUGH FOR ROUGH TERAINS, BUT THEN AGAIN THIS IS A 100% UPLAND FOOTWEAR.

I walk every where when I hunt upland game birds. I put these on and took off walking a couple of drainage ditches and old railroad bed and some feilds of wetland grass areas. I have hot feet so I was looking for boots without insulation but; I like to wade through any water that might be in my way so water prof is a must.(Imagine if you can hot feel in waterlogged boots)I gave these boot no break-in time and they have performed tremendous. I had a little heal rub on first day but nothing that stopped me. I have worn these boots for the last Month at least two days a week probably fifteen to twentyfive miles a day. My gundogs get tired but not my dogs, thanks.

Have been wearing these to quail, pheasant and turkey hunt for 4 seasons now. They have been through miles of snow, mud, and brush, and still feel great.
