“I use the boot for everyday activity, as I live in the countryside. A well made sturdy boot with steel shank makes for a solid footing. Damp ground has almost zero impact on this Gortex boot.
My only complaint, is as another poster commented, regarding chaffing on the inside of ankle due to a crimp/fold in the tongue. Only for one boot, in my case. This is primarily due to improper stiching of the tongue along the inside of boot, causing it to bunch up.
The soles are rather thin, for a boot, in the ball of foot area.”
