Irish Setter

Boots were originally a little stiff and uncomfortable, but one day of wearing in the leather fixed that. Otherwise a great upland boot especially for guides and hunters in the Deep South after the HOT winter that we have had and if you're scared of rattlers and copperheads like me. I suspect they would also be good in snow due to the upper leg gaiter portion. Waterproofing has held up through two hunts so far and after a little wearing in these taller boots are hardly noticed and are extremely comfortable.

Excellent quality...better than I expected...very warm, but best thing is how sharp it looks...too fancy for a work coat if messy manual labor is envisioned, but it fits the bill for most any other use. Am no longer embarrassed to meet my customers during the cold weather months...very professional, yet not "uppidy". The zipper is hard to start, but once started, slides very well. I am 5'9" and 185 lbs and got a large...the length of the coat and sleeves are great, but the chest area seems abit too big...I kept the coat because I assume the roominess will allow for a heavier underlayer if needed...a smaller size might make the shoulders too small. Beautiful coat and appropriately warm during the winter months. Great attention to detail by the manufacturer. Wonder why the company would want to close it out!

The wool was not as heavy/thick as I had expected. I am comparing to a med weight peacoat. However, it is warm and is fairly heavy. The fleece lining is nice and the inner pocket useful. I weould buy again.
