very nice boots for work, when you work in the field

This is the second pair, i had the viper before,almost same design. One of the best boot ive had, however i had to fit a zip, as it was impossible to take them off my foot ones on.

This is the 2nd pair of these that I have purchased. They are the most comfortable snake boots I have ever owned, and I have owned several different brands. In the South where I train dogs it's important to have snake boots due to the snake population, and these fit the bill!

I wear a 7 1/2 EE and I could not even get my foot into this boot side zippers and all. Would loved to have a pair that would have fit.They will be returned to sierra store in Reno,Nv. when I get over that way.

Good buy, like the coat, it's comfortable what more can i say?

great for hiking and hunting

I bought this for myself, even though it's a Men's jacket. The medium is a little big (I'm 5'2", about 138 pounds) but not bad. I returned the first one because for the life of me I could not get the zipper to work. The second one has the same problem and I figured out that it simply is a very sensitive zipper--you can't pull the zipper slide down sharply when you're fitting the two sides together, or it won't go. It needs to just be set in there gently, and then it zips right up. The jacket is warm, lightweight, has a multitude of inner and outer pockets, a waist drawstring, and a nice hood. It's perfect for dog-walking. I love it.

this is a great jacket. it's warm, it's comfortable, it's water resistent, it has a million pockets and a detachable hood. but there is something weird about the zipper. it won't work. it works if i take the jacket off and lay it on the floor--then it zips just fine. but when i put it on it WILL. NOT. WORK. i haven't decided what to do. i might keep the jacket and bring it to a tailor and replace the zipper. the jacket was just a great bargain and i so love it. but the zipper is just freaking bizarre.

These boots were very small and tight in the calf. I felt the boots were defective because the left foot was twisted in the manufacturing process. Returned them the same day.

Boots were originally a little stiff and uncomfortable, but one day of wearing in the leather fixed that. Otherwise a great upland boot especially for guides and hunters in the Deep South after the HOT winter that we have had and if you're scared of rattlers and copperheads like me. I suspect they would also be good in snow due to the upper leg gaiter portion. Waterproofing has held up through two hunts so far and after a little wearing in these taller boots are hardly noticed and are extremely comfortable.
