“Size irregularity was a serious problem [[ chest tight, sleeves much too long. It would take major tailoring to make a fit, and I ordinarily wear a jacket off the rack with no tailoring needed. Color was not very attractive, but would be acceptable if more subdued or muted. The plaid pattern, however, stood out strongly with nothing about it anywhere near muted or subtle. It just looked way too loud and busy.”
