Pros:
Heavy Marino Wool, Lined with pockets, Multi-ply stretch, Neutral Color
Cons:
Balky zipper, Snug in shoulders, Upsize may be needed
Best Uses:
Mild winter wear
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This is a very nice, lined, heavy sweater in a good neutral color (more gray than tan) that is suitable for outdoor wear in mild winter conditions. I don't know how many ply yarn is used here, but it is very heavy and stretchy, while Marino wool maintains its tight non-itchy hand.
I tried twice on this one--once in XL and then again in XXL and finally at 46 Long, decided that it just doesn't fit me well. It is tight in the shoulders and throughout the body, and thus, not very flattering. Also, though a quality zipper, I found it balky on both models, but that's not unusual for zip cardigans where the wool gets caught at the zipper seam. Try it if you like the look, but regrettably I returned it for last time.
