Isis Laila Ski Pants - Soft Shell (For Women)

These are great for any type of activity outside where you will be moving. They look great and work well. A definite keeper. Also great that they come in petite!!

Great ski pants but I will return them because they are too "swishy" when walking. Not the loudest I've ever heard, but too noisy for me.

A nice pair of pants, although not for truly cold weather. If you're planning aerobic activity in cool to cold conditions, they'll work very well, but the cold seeps through otherwise. They are very high-waisted and, despite the stretchy/adjustable velcro tabs, are not really all that adjustable. They have no back pockets; also, the ankle-guard material is not quite the same shade as the pant itself, so it's pretty obvious they're there. All that having been said, though, this is a great quality pair of pants that runs pretty true to size and is good for high-output activity in cold conditions or medium activity in cool conditions.

Found these disappointing after my last pair of Isis softshell ski pants from at least 6 yrs ago that are perfect. After 2 kids tho I can't quite zip my size 8s. Surprised that I needed 14 in these pants tho since I usually wear 10 or 12; especially in waist (mine is 31). Some Isis have great outside velcro for adjustment, but since these also have wide elastic around the waist, the velcro is best if you need to tighten rather than loosen. Still better for my 145-lb pear shape than most ski pants, no gap in back, and I am happy that they are not low-rise which is silly when snow is involved. Material is comfortable and quiet but so thin as to be see-thru; could not wear them on coldest east coast ski days. Slightly shiny and not as water resistant as my other softshell Isis. Hate the oyster color which is dull pale yellowish and more obvious in the scuff guards, which are darker.
