“disappointing compared to other Isis”

“Found these disappointing after my last pair of Isis softshell ski pants from at least 6 yrs ago that are perfect. After 2 kids tho I can't quite zip my size 8s. Surprised that I needed 14 in these pants tho since I usually wear 10 or 12; especially in waist (mine is 31). Some Isis have great outside velcro for adjustment, but since these also have wide elastic around the waist, the velcro is best if you need to tighten rather than loosen. Still better for my 145-lb pear shape than most ski pants, no gap in back, and I am happy that they are not low-rise which is silly when snow is involved. Material is comfortable and quiet but so thin as to be see-thru; could not wear them on coldest east coast ski days. Slightly shiny and not as water resistant as my other softshell Isis. Hate the oyster color which is dull pale yellowish and more obvious in the scuff guards, which are darker.”
