    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I wanted this as a ski jacket; returned it due to lack of enough, placement of exterior pockets. Use those for walkie-talkie, other essentials. Jacket seemed very well made, I hated to return it but I rely on those handy pockets when skiing. At least one more exterior pocket and I would have loved it.

    I loved the fit of this jacket, but it was not of the quality I had hoped and I had to return it. It would be fine for a "bop around town" jacket, but not a serious sport jacket.

    This is a very comfortable jacket with lots of interior pockets for almost anything you would want to carry--sunglasses, I-pod, etc. I love the color (amethyst)and it seems very warm, even though it is really lightweight. The only drawback is so minor--it doesn't fit as close to my body as most other jackets, but on the other hand that allows for more layering if needed.
