I bought these boots for work. I work outside as a zipline guide and these looked like go warm light weight boots. Which they were, but after only 2 months of average use the bottom of the boot began to seperate. This allowed snow to enter the bottom of the boot. This made the boot complely useless. Nothing against Sierra Trading post I have bought some great products from them, but this is not one of them.

I purchased these boots to wear for a Boy Scout Klondike campout in Colorado. They did their job--kept my feet nice and warm while tromping through the snow at 12 degrees. The only downfall is that they don't offer foot support, so I would never wear these boots while hunting. They will be good for shoveling snow, taking the kids sledding, and walking around the ski resorts.
