I'm not big into hoodies, but this is one I keep grabbing for just about anything outdoors and for hanging around indoors. It isn't too thick, but it's still warm and it drapes well. Very, very nice.

I was skeptical about the hood but it lies flat and unobtrusive until you need it. The material is warm and resists snagging. I normally take a XL Tall. The 2XL fits great. Love it.

I was a little skeptical about a wool hoody, not being all that fond of regular hoodies, but after receiving this as a gift, I find myself continuously reaching for it as a very comfortable, minimalist, do anything garment--walking the dog, traveling etc. The garment is very straightforward, no bells and whistles in terms of extra pockets, just the one open kangeroo pocket on the ront, which even for the heavily reduced price makes this seem overpriced. The material and fit, however, are excellent. I normally take a large (6", 225 lbs) and the large fits closely but not snugly with room to wear a heavy turtleneck under it. The ribbed boiled wool is warm enough for use as an outer layer in high 30s temps if you're moderately active and a great mid layer otherwise. The hood is well structured so as not to block peripheral vision but to fit closely and has a nice jersey wool liner that makes it very...cozy? Overall I love the garment although I still cringe at the idea of anyone spending $200+ for such a basic piece.
