    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have been looking for shoes like these for a long time. I wanted something sporty looking but with elevated heel. These are good, though heavy for everyday wear. They are also half-size too big. I wanted to exchange the 8 1/2 I got but they did not have size 8, I decided to keep them anyway. Excellent quality and price. And the map design on the sides makes them interesting. Not for narrow feet.

    I thought these were very cute sandals. I have the J-41 St Marten sandals, which I love -- and fit me perfectly -- but these Barbadoes sandals (and maybe I just received a defective pair?) were extremely wide. I almost wanted to keep them because they were cute and comfortable, but the straps around the front of the foot were VERY loose...my foot could have been an inch wider or more to fit into them.
