J-41 Commander Shoes - Oxfords (For Men)

I bought this pair for my husband and he loves it. It is very classy and comfortable and is reasonably priced. It can't get any better than that!

Might be odd looking. Very comfortable

They are easy to adjust the laces to be able to slip off easily at the airport thru security.

very cool. heavy duty sole. will wear well. low profile. not much of arch support.

these fit like gloves from day 1. insoles are great,laces to the toes are a plus, soles have nice traction.

Put them on went to tie them and the lace ripped right out . eyelet and all...Would not get another pair. Have not had very good luck with shoes from Sierra Trading Post....My wife has had to return several pairs due to defects.....

Good for around town. Will Be Good travel shoes. Look Kool and are comfortable!

I readily admit that the price drove me to purchase these shoes. I knew as soon as I tried them on that there was not enough arch support for me. While I very much liked the look there were a few things that would have concerned me had I kept them: 1. It has a low heel compared to what I have been wearing (Columbia Trail Meisters - wish I'd bought an extra pair!) and there was heel slippage just walking around the house. 2. Regarding others' comments about the toe box, it felt snug, but not tight. I always wear Thorlo brand padded socks so that may explain the snugness. I also wear Earth brand casual shoes so any other toe box feels somewhat restrictive by comparison. 3. As other reviewers have also mentioned, the lacing system looked flimsy. This was difficult to judge from the online photos. I prefer actual eyelets rather than slim straps to hold the laces. The combination of woven fabric on one side and thin leather on the other side just didn't seem sturdy enough but, since I'm returning them without any long-term wear, I can't properly judge the durability of the lacing system. Looking through the available shoes in my size I am replacing them with the Vasque Blur trail running shoes and will review them as well.
