J-41 Venture Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

These boot are a great alternative to traditional motorcycle boots. They offer water resistance and warmth without a heel or stiff leather.

These boots are too narrow for me, but I'm hoping that they will stretch out with some use. They are attractive, so I hope I'll be able to continue using them.

I love these boots. Like another reviewer, I initially thought they might run small because when I first tried them on it was a bit difficult getting them over my heels. I just took my time, was patient and after wearing them a few times that issue resolved. And once on, they fit so perfectly it was worth coddling them a bit. As to the zipper issue, I struggled with it at first, partially I think, due to the boots construction: I.E. when unzipped instead of being open to expose the skin of your leg there is a soft continuous leather liner there. Again, if you're patient the first few times you put them on you will get the hang of how to finesse and smooth the leather beneath the zipper as you pull it up. It is a bit tricky and someone suggested a bit of soap to make the zipper slide more easily. Once t on though, I suspect the piece of leather makes the boot even more waterproof as no moisture can get in. And they were so comfortable from the very first wearing. The fit is so perfect they feel as though they were tailored for me. I am a pretty true size 9.5, the size I ordered. I can wear them with a thin or medium thickness sock without trouble. The leather is very soft which makes the boot form fitting. And the soles have excellent traction. I use a cane to walk when the weather is bad and these boots help me feel more grounded. And I love the height of them. They look great with jeans but I also have worn them with skirts. My daughter who is in her twenties thought they were so cute and stylish she wants to get a pair. I wish they had my size in black as I would have liked to buy another pair.

Although purchased particularly for dog walking (waterproof, tall, warm, comfortable) they are attractive enough to wear any place. I especially appreciated the comments of other purchasers re size - always critical when ordering footwear online!

Best fit of a boot/shoe I've tried lately. Fits narrow foot/heel great. Very cozy, comfortable, cute and waterproof to boot! I bought these to use as my boots home from a long day on the slopes-to change out of stiff ski boots in snow/slush and have something comfortable to wear home or at the lodge, resort, or restaurant. I wear them to the days end even once at home. True to size. Leather does stretch but not by much.

Comfortable,waterproof so far I have been using them to walk in various MI weather(snow,melting snow rain,ice,frozen sand -all in a week)

Bought the copper color on a whim for a trip to Isle of Skye, Scotland in winter. Cold, rainy and windy. These boots look fantastic with any color pants, and are even cute with a casual skirt and tights. (I caught some of the local teens checking them out ;) Sooooo comfortable! Put them on and literally walked out the door for an 8 hour flight with lots of changing planes, walking through airports with heavy bags. My feet were not only supported but never got tired. No break in required. And warm if you wear a thin insulated sock. Only drawback: If you're ankles and calves are a little bigger, these boots may be uncomfortable on the leg. Other than that, get a pair while they last!

True to other comments, order 1/2 size larger. Incredible fit for narrow feet, heals don't slip. Comfortable room in the toe box with fluffy socks. Looking forward to wearing these as I travel this winter!

These boots are so comfortable and warm. I've been wearing them all day in the wet,cold weather, and they are great. I don't find them that attractive and fashionable, but definitely sporty and fun. They were an excellent value, although the quality is just okay. The zipper can be tough at times.
