    At first I thought these were too small, but it's just that they don't slip on the foot easily at first. With a heavy sock, they might be too small, but with a thin sock, and once on the foot, they are the absolute perfect fit for me--true to size. After a couple of wearings, they were easier to get on, also. I got the bronze and received many, many compliments on them.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Darn! These looked so cool on-line and I like the J-41 line. But these boots run at least 1/2 size small, which was not mentioned on the website. Also, I had some trouble with the zippers sticking. This would be very awkward if you needed to get them on and off quickly or with cold hands or with gloves on. I don't think I should have to pay to ship them back. They seem slightly defective.

    I ordered my size and these boots were too small for me. I'm not sure if they were listed as running small, but I believe if they were, I would have ordered a half size bigger as suggested for some of your other footwear.Since I just ordered 7 pairs of shoes from you, I doubt I will be ordering anymore in the near future[...]
