I love the skirt.

I bought this for my church choir Christmas special. I really like it and it looks nice.

I think this skirt is great-- I feel like I could wear it with a black t-shirt for just running around town, or with a "fancy" tank top or shell for a less casual look. Some people might find that the hips look a little wide due to the stiffness of the lace overlay, but I don't mind the effect...it just makes my waist seem smaller. I think it would look great with flats, or my shoes of choice: high-heeled mary janes. In colder weather I plan to wear it with knit tights, knee-high boots and a v-neck sweater. So far I have not hung this up- it is still sitting folded in my "clean laundry" pile, and shows no sign of wrinkling or creasing. For the price, it is a great skirt!

GOOD VALUE FOR PRICE

Without being overdone, this skirt adds a little oomph. Fun!

This skirt is a great neutral color and style, yet not boring. Not 'girlie' either (agree with previous reviewer). The style is moderately A-line, but becomes more flared/flippy at the bottom. No waistband. The lace feels sturdy, I don't worry about damaging it. The reviewer who said the skirt would travel well is right! The lace doesn't wrinkle, and you can't tell whether the slip is wrinkled or not. I generally resist wearing skirts, but this one is easy and comfortable and will be a four-season, all-purpose skirt. I am currently wearing 18/20, and I often have trouble finding pants etc that are small enough on my waist (belt size 38") without getting too tight on hips. I tried this skirt first in 20 and it was inches too big. Reordered the 18 which fits very well, sitting slightly lower than my waist and has room for my hips.

This skirt looks nothing like the picture. It's not an A-line. It's too tight and the fabric has a bizarre horizontal stripe to it from the lace.

I was surprised at how nice this skirt was. I hesitated to order it because I thought the square lace looked a bit odd. When it arrived I could understand the design. It is dressy without being "sweet." It is a nice length for the shape. The skirt flairs out a little so the length is important to keep the silhouette balanced. I am a more mature woman and was happy this did not look girlish or cute on me. I look forward to wearing this skirt in a variety of ways. It can be dressed up or down It is well made, and a real plus, folds up to almost nothing so traveling with it will be easy. I am very happy with this skirt.

nice skirt.. for special occasions, easy to wear

This is one of the best articles of clothing i have ever bought. I prefer my tennies and jeans, but when i have to dress up, i want it to be easy and classy. This skirt is well made, is easy to wear (no special undergarment required), and is very dressy.
