I've tried on and bought a number of Jack Victor suits, and have really liked some of them. This is one of those, and I'm really glad I found it. First off, the jacket happened to fit quite well, which is always a great start for a satisfying suit procurement. This one does seem more trim and modern in its cut compared to the more generous old-school fit of most of my suits, but its well-formed and feels great. Its from their Studio line and isn't one of their Loro Piana fabrics, so its not surprising that the hand isn't out of this world. However, it does seem to drape well, and the pattern and color are very becoming without being real sheeny or formal. While its a very handsome suit, it also feels a little more relaxed and casual, and like it would feel more appropriate in more settings than many of my more formal suits. While I'd surely pick others for the old-school high-polish business suit look, this one will get worn a lot and in lot of everyday places. Jack Victor suits seem to be an excellent value. They've all appeared pretty well made and desirable; I trust that this is the imported fabrics and decent Canadian assembly working for you. At Sierra prices, especially with those luscious deal-flyer discounts, they've been a bargain for me. I wish I had more suits that pleased me all the ways this one does.

I am not one who routinely wears suits, but did not find this trim fit to be very trim. Once I have the suit jacket re-cut and tailored, it will be perfect! The material is beautiful and the suit appears very well made. As always, shipping was fast!
