Bought this tent after a friend recommended the site. I was looking for a two person tent, light enough for backpacking and waterproof. That's exactly what I got. I recently took it on a 12 mile hike in southern Ohio, up & down hillsides, ridges and valleys. The lighter weight of the tent & poles was a plus. We set up camp in a wooded area on about 2 inches of wet leaves from last fall. The basin of the tent is very thin but waterproof. Because of the thinness, I used a cheap tarp as a footprint to place the tent upon. I didn't want to rip my new tent on a hidden thorn or anything similar. The tent is easy to set up, detailed instructions were included but I set it up once at home and was good to go in the field. The poles are all super lightweight yet functional and go together/come apart easily. There's a little short pole at the top that extends the roof inside, giving you a little more headroom and a shape that helps water roll of. Inside the tent there are several pockets and a little shelf for the roof. The pockets were great to keep small stuff from rilling downhill, There are several loops of heavy cloth inside you could hang wet clothes, chemlights etc from. The fly goes on pretty easy and it very secure without using the guide wires. The doors are easy to use with good quality zippers. I rained on us for about two hours and got chilly outside. I was nice & cozy dry inside. In the morning during disassembly I noticed about 2 cups of water between the tarp and the bottom of the tent- none of that made it inside an on me, my bag or clothes. Nice! Packs up easy and fits well in the waterproof bag. The only negative- if you want to sit inside with your feet outside, the tent wall comes up about 8 inches, but I suppose thats necessary to keep the basin part super waterproof.
