2.0 out of 5 stars. Nylon Shell Fabric feels cheap and noisy when put on or move aroundReviewed by Monkey King from CA on Friday, April 7, 2017First time buying a Jack Wolfskin jacket. The style and combination of colors of this jacket is nice. However, the nylon fabric looks cheap as compared to competing brands. When I put on the jacket and moved around, the fabric made a lot of noises...kind of annoying. When I put on other similar down jackets made by Marmot and North Face, the noise levels are a lot lower. The jacket is definitely not a fitted type and my major complaint is about the arm section and the elastic cuff bands which are very loose. The so called elastic cuff bands leave a big opening allowing cold air to come in. Most likely a return.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Fits small and feels cheapReviewed by Anonymous from B.C, Canada on Friday, March 31, 2017I am 5'11, 185lbs muscular build, and this fits a size small, not to mention its very wide @ the waist. The material feels cheap compared to the more known brands, Columbia, Marmot etc. Spend the extra money and get a better jacket.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great construction, ok fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by crhaag from Utah on Wednesday, February 15, 2017Overall this is a well built jacket. I wish the fit was a bit more snug, and it could be a bit longer to keep drafts out of the bottom. That being said, I have never noticed any of the down creeping out of it and the construction seems sturdier than coats in a similar price and weight range.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat, ok fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by crhaag from Utah on Tuesday, January 31, 2017Overall the construction quality is good, it is lightweight, and the down doesn't creep out much. My only issue is the fit. It's a bit baggy and could be longer. No major complaints though.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Runs SmallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Monday, November 21, 2016For me it runs a full size small compared to other clothing lines. Luckily STP makes it easy to return so I'll exchange for a different jacket.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and LiteVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dave from Catskills NY on Thursday, October 27, 2016The jacket is warm and puffy. Build quality appears good and it has been keeping me warm this fall.
I got this to use as a liner for my Jack Wolfskin Ice Portage Jacket to add a little more insulation than the synthetic insulation liner offers. The description for this jacket states that it "Can be integrated into a matching Jack Wolfskin weatherproof jacket using snap fastener system" and that statement is true. There are loops on the cuffs and the back of the neck to use the snap fasteners in my Jack Wolfskin shell which is great. However the zippers do not quite match up with shell and forces you to rely only upon the snap system. I was hoping for a more seamless integration between the two but the snap system will have to suffice.
