    Looks cool, good quality for the price. Good in low temperatures (23 F or -5 C) for short walks (30-45 minutes). If wind is strong, you can still feel it on your ears, but it's not a problem for me. The strap is made of velcro, which takes a few points off the style. Cool hat anyway!

    Very thin. I use over stocking cap. Used alone, it is good for about 45 degrees. Not winterware! It does have two nice wooden buttons that can be removed since they serve no purpose. Nice for keeping grit off head when under car etc.

    Bought this for my son in college & he loved it. Nice herringbone pattern, well constructed and warm. Only con-->my son removed the sewn-on wooden buttons as they didn't seem to serve any purpose and hat looks even better without them.
