Therefore, passed it onto our average sized 4 year old . . . still too small. She complains of her head hurting. So, onto the 2 year old. It is either okay or not worth crying over. I would categorize this as a toddler size and not a child size.

Reviewed by deal hunter from ky on Tuesday, December 13, 2011i was disappointed this was too small to fit my four year old he has a small profile and head but the hat was still too small. may be a defect of the pattern. i bought three in different colors for gifts for the small children in the family but i will not give them out, just a disappointment. maybe a really small toddler/baby could use these, the sizing info was wrong on the detailed portion of the product information.

My 5 yr and 7 yr will not wear it because of hole in back of hat (meant for ponytail?) They think that means its for girls. In description is said for youth boys and we liked that it was reflective, however, it was way too small for my 7 yr old.
