    the pair i left in a cab was almost the same (lining was red), so i was quite pleased when these were discounted. nice amount of insulation, i.e. warm but not bulky. black dye bleeds a little when they're new, but they'll behave themselves after a while, so buy a spare pair when the price is right.

    This is the second pair of deerskin gloves (from different sources) I've worn. Deerskin is pliable and surprisingly durable. This glove is comfortable and warm - we've had unusually cold weather this winter - and they've done well. My only caveat is that the wrist openings are quite wide and gather precipitation if I am simply walking; some big sleeves or something else to cover them answers that eventuality.
