I bought these hoping for a pair of gloves to keep my fingers warm in the recent sub-zero temps we've had. They did a pretty good job while I scraped my car and then during the drive waiting for the car to heat up. However, when they get damp, they do give off a smell. It's not horrible but noticeable. I'm not returning them b/c they are warm. There is no grip on the palm which does make it tough for driving. I read the other reviews and ordered the size recommended.

These gloves were large/xlarge. My hands qualify for large because I have long fingers. I do not have big hands. These gloves were so tight the Thinsulate liner stitching started to pull apart when I put them on. They need to be checked for sizing closer.

Pros:
Warm
Cons:
Poor Grip, Wears Easily
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The materials are warm enough for 15+ casual glove. The stitching holding the liner to the glove ripped out the first time I wore them, I ended up restitching both liners. This product was designed in PA, USA and made in China (I guess the folks in PA don't need the jobs), so I guess you get what you pay for.
