Then I noticed a hole on the left side of one of the gloves. Poor stitching is what led to the problem. Just looking more closely at them, they are just cheaply made.

These are just the thing, flexible, soft and comfortable. I also really like the rubbery "traction" surface on the fingertips and palm for driving.
