I now have 2 of these. I love them. They keep my face and ears warm, and give me options for what kind of eye protection I want to wear. One of the smartest, cheapest purchases I've made for riding a motorcycle in the cold at 80 mph.

I have been wearing this almost every morning through October. I wear a full face helmet, but the cold air was still getting in. This makes a huge difference and it is very comfortable. The material is a very thin fleece but the description didn't make that clear. The only thing I would change would be to make the stitching around the face hole more flexible. I can pull it down below my mouth but not below my chin.

    Breathable, Comfortable, Fit, Lightweight
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I wanted this "helmet liner" for use as a balaclava in cold weather conditions (up to -5 Cel.), specifically, for use under my bicycle helmet. I was wary of getting insulated models that I thought might not breathe as well and might add too much bulk under my helmet. Also, I did not want a long neck that would bunch up. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong item. This helmet liner really is made for wicking, not protecting from the cold. It is thin material, you can easily see light through it, even doubled over. As such, it is a very nice liner. However, I give it 4/5 because the neck is too short. As a motorcyclist, if I were to use this I would want a 3" longer neck. Bottom Line: this thing wicks, not insulates.

These liners are very thin and lightweight, but add a great deal of warmth to your head without tightening the helmet.

This helmet liner is great. I was very impressed that the anti-static really worked. I am giving several of these away as Christmas presents to friends and family who ride motorcycles and snowmobiles.
