This is the 4th pair of these I have bought. I live on Lake Erie and the weather can be brutal. I also have two big dogs that need to be walked every day. I liked the design and at first I would have rated them a 4 because the lining was very warm and the tapered cut at the wrist keeps cold from coming in. Unfortunately, the leather quality is inconsistent. On the left glove the leather was a poorer quality than the right and the palm tore in 2 places during the first week (just driving to a. from work). I plan to try returning for a replacement. Otherwise, they were a great value.
