I liked the design and at first I would have rated them a 4 because the lining was very warm and the tapered cut at the wrist keeps cold from coming in. Unfortunately, the leather quality is inconsistent. On the left glove the leather was a poorer quality than the right and the palm tore in 2 places during the first week (just driving to a. from work). I plan to try returning for a replacement. I was excited at first by these gloves but they are nice and warm but the leather they are made out of is paper thin. Just after the second wearing I had two tears in one glove and 3 tears in the other. Where the leather tore ,it is so paper thin. These gloves were not abused, just worn normally.
