The first pair I received actually had a broken seam. However, the speed in exchanging them made up for that.

This is an excellent product following an excellent concept. The convertible mitten allows one to have a pair of Thinsulated wool mittens (which are weatherproof and help keep warm even when wet, unlike cotton) while allowing you to flip the top to expose your fingers for more fine work. The only problem I've really had is that they wear a bit due to having to twist/turn things, like bolts. This involves using the thumb, which is not convertible. Spectacular, otherwise.

Useful to camp and play in. Con: Velcro fasteners could be sewn own better.

We love having the option of taking off just the top of the mitten to use our fingers. I would have bought more for other family members if I had known they ran small.
