After hunting in eight degree temps on the Mississippi River, I realized gloves were not going to keep my hands warm. These mitts did well at twentyeight degrees and wind at 20 mph. With warmer packets in the built in pockets I will be ready for that eight degree weather.

I need a pair of gloves that kept my hands warm during snowblowing my driveway. These seem to be the answer.

these are great hunting gloves ! These gloves kept my hand warm without getting in the way. The pop top is awesome. They have a magnet in the to hold them back too, which is great because it is super quiet if you want to put your fingers back in them.

Great for hunting. The thumbs don't fit right and the thumbs are the first thing to get cold.

USE THEM WHILE ELK HUNTING

I lost one of a pair of these type of gloves two weeks ago on a hike. I bought the originals about 10 years ago at a big box sports store and was not able to find an exact replacement. The Sierra Trading offering is the latest version of the original that I lost. The only complaint is that the fabric has changed and is a "sticky" feeling nylon fabric that grabs the rough spots on your hands. I like the original design and I am getting used to them already. Don't do any wet type hunting with these, as they are not designed for it. The zipper pouch for the hand warmers is a plus.

Good gloves, but not quite right for a duck blind. Probably better as a field glove and perhaps for cold weather fishing. They aren't at all water proof/resistant and not as warm as I'd like for a blind.

I purchased the mitts to wear to the Tennesse Titans & Baltimore Ravens playoff game to keep my hands warm which they certainly did! My hands were cold during the regular season game against Pittsburg Steelers in Nashville and I was determined not the have cold hands during the playoff game. I will also use the mitts during the spring turkey hunting season as cold weather dictates. The gloves inside the mitts is a perfect combination for any activity. A definate recommended buy!
