    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I was really disappointed with this hat ... the price was good so I'll keep it. I understand that sometimes products have a little flaw, but every few inches along the trim, the trim is flipped out showing the raw edge. It just looks really messy. I'm sort of embarrassed to give it to my husband. The hat is also really thin fleece, so I'm not sure how warm it will be.

    Bought these as lightweight headgear for our Nordic ski team. One reviewer noted these are for extreme cold. That depends on your definition of extreme cold, and your activity level. I don't think these will be great for casual wear in temps below 0 F. They are definitely warm enough for skiing and running in cold temps.
