My son loved them when they came, but the stitching on one of the fingers was undone (or the fabric had frayed such that it had separated). I'll probably keep them since the $5 shipping to exchange them is really close to the value of the gloves, but I don't expect them to last an entire winter.

My boys wore these for skiing in Colorado this week and while they seem to be fairly warm gloves, they are NOT waterproof. At all. And, once wet they're difficult to get turned inside out and dried.

To measure your hand size correctly, measure the widest part of your hand (excluding your thumb), generally around the knuckles.|Visit our sizing charts here for information on how to measure and what sizes will fit you best:|http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/SizeChart.html

The small is a bit large on my 5yo, the medium fits my 8yo, and the large fits my 11yo, all girls (and the 5yo's hands are small for her age). Hope that helps!

The sizing for the kids was spot on with just alittle room for growth, but having an adjustable wrist band helped.
