I was looking for something waterproof and warm that would keep my kids hands warm while they are out playing in the snow for hours. These are perfect! Size XS for my 2 year old, size S for my 5 year old. Can't go wrong. Plus, you can't beat the price!

The mittens fit like the sizing suggests. My daughter has no problems putting these on. Some mittens tend to give her problems with the thumb holes. These don't. Her hands are toasty warm after playing in snow, and she never complains about them or tries to yank them off.

Ended up getting the XS size on STP for less than $5 with coupons. Can't beat that. My 2 year old has worn them only 2-3 times so far. Holding up fine, warm enough, and dry inside when i checked after playing in snow.
Only complaint is that it is such a pain to get his tiny thumbs in the right place inside the gloves. These are extra frustrating for some reason.

I looked everywhere for waterproof snow mittens for my 2 yr old daughter. after searching multiple stores I was introduced to Sierra trading post and found these mittens. they have been a lifesaver this winter for a busy, curious 2 yr old who loves playing in all the ohio snow. I bought XS and they are roomy so I know she'll be able to wear them a couple more seasons.

My 4 year old enjoys sledding. She would get soaked with the regular yarn mittens or gloves. With these new Waterproof ski mittens for kids, she can spend hours playing in the snow and her hands with be roasty toasty for hours !!!

I feel your frustration, that's why I included my son's age along with the size. He is a small guy, 6 years old, and the small gloves fit him perfectly. I may have ordered a medium so he had room to grow. So I would say the small is appropriate for a large 4 year old up to a small 6 year old.

These run true to size. I measured my daughter's hand, compared it to the charts on the web site and they fit as expected. Hope that helps.

They run pretty true to size - they measure from top to very end 6 1/2 inches. From the elastic around the wrist to the end of the fingertip part they are 5 inches. They were big on my 3 year old granddaughter but they were all we could find - since they have some elastic around the wrist they stayed on fine and were usable - she will be able to use them at least next year and maybe even the year after that. I would think most 6 year olds would fit into them but maybe without extra room depending on the size of the 6 year old.
