Reviewed by Hip Librarian from Oregon on Monday, April 1, 2013I got this because the size is perfect for use sifting baking powder and baking soda to make sure there are no lumps. It would be perfect except the rotating wires don't make very good contact with the screen--which is kind of the point of a sifter. It works if I push the screen up and I may be able to bend the wires to make better contact. Perhaps it's meant more as a decoration... It really is quite adorable.
Reviewed by mountain mama from Four Corners on Friday, March 22, 2013I was hoping for a good-quality, made in the U.S.A., kitchen tool. This isn't it. Very thin metal, rinky-dink handle assembly, mesh is cheap-looking and holes are too big for good sifting. Eight ounce capacity is also quite small. Don't waste your time or $$.
Reviewed by rj from Akron OH on Saturday, March 9, 2013This product seems adequate to the task with which it is charged. Beware however it is just a 1 cup sized sifter. If you're making bread, you may want to consider at least a three cupper! If you're dusting cookies with powdered sugar it's good enough!
Reviewed by dpdinaz from Arizona on Friday, March 8, 2013My mistake. It's a ONE CUP sifter. Don't know if anyone would ever need a tiny sifter -- I know that I don't.
