The dual tongs keep kebabs from rotating on the skewers, so common with single tong skewers. The keepers can be positioned by the handles while grilling to force the food off when finished, or at the tip to keep everything in it's place. In addition, the wooden handle inserts enable you to grill without mitts or pliers. These are a well thought-out design. At this price, they're a terrific bargain!
