Reviewed by Montana hiker from Montana on Friday, November 1, 2013I looked at these for a long time before ordering. They are sooooo cute on. I love them with skinny jeans. Very nice quality too.
Reviewed by AvieMare from Southey California on Thursday, October 3, 2013I ordered this bootie for two reasons: first the brand and then the price. JAMBU runs very true to size and I normally order a 10 in sandals but in boots and closed shoes of all brands I go up a size for toe wiggle room.
I normally won't buy any shoe with a 3" heel but because there is a small platform on these I decided to go for it. As it turned out the heel was even higher than expected at 3.5 inches. This is usually a deal breaker for me.
But since I got these at a great price I decided to make them work by only using them for short walking errands.
Pros: Very cute with stylish fuzzy cuff. Adorable with leggings, skinny jeans, and skirts.
Somewhat of a rocker heel to help with forward propulsion
Slightly upturned toe to help reduce ball of foot pressure and the dreaded "toe scrunch" that looks so ridiculous and damages feet so badly
Generous ankle size; easily fits a 10 inch ankle
Cons: Too steep an angle for comfort due to higher heel
Embossed leather looks shiny and almost plastic; the suede ones look MUCH better. I got the black but brown would probably be the same
Pointier toe box than most JAMBU styles. This is another reason I went up a size. The extra length can be countered by orthotics inserts
Faux shearling cuff looks cheap up close
So as you can see, the pros and cons balanced out exactly evenly so I gave the shoes a 3 star rating. If I had paid more I would probably have returned
them, but they were worth keeping at the price I got them for.
Reviewed by Anissa from Jacksonville, FL on Tuesday, September 3, 2013I really like these boots because they are different. The thing that I liked the most was how comfortable they are. I can't wait until it gets cooler outside and I can wear them with a nice pair of fitted jeans or cords.
I also think that the height on the heel is nice as well as the pattern on the shoe. I would recommend these shoes to the girl or woman that wants to be trendy and comfortable.
Reviewed by Sue D from Mn on Saturday, August 24, 2013I really liked these, but---I had tried a different Jambu in a 6 1/2, way to small. No 7's left, so I ordered a 7 1/2. Too big, so I exchanged them for something else. I think the 7 would have been fine. I really liked the boot and was disappointed.
