I received the JanSport Klamath Carry-On Dufflepack today and couldn't be more pleased. It's a great combination of durability and light weight. The bottom of the duffle is slightly padded making for easy packing (holds its shape) and comfortable wear. Although dimensionally it doesn't appear to ... Read More
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Trav3ller from Antractica on Wednesday, January 14, 2015This is what I've been looking for sooo long!
It is a very versatile bag ideal for low cost carriers because it can be trimmed in size and also weights very little, and when you are so restricted with luggage allowance every gram counts!
The bag us superb. I am not that flash on the assymetric shape but I am high on the compression straps and the tuck-away soulder straps.
I am soo happy to secure two of these in time. Thankyou sierratradingpost as usual service par to none!
Awesome bag but if you are reading this you are too late already, sold out.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by wetfoot from Washington on Monday, December 15, 2014This is a great bag for a week of travel. I really wanted something with a waterproof finish, but for the price this bag was a great deal and worked out really well. There are plenty of pockets for keeping gear separate, and the large u-shaped opening allows for easy access to all of the contents. My only complaints (and they are minor) are that the compression straps are short and only compress the bag vertically, and that the bag is rather wide when using it as a carry on. The width issue can be mitigated by not using the side pockets and so long as the bag is not totally stuffed, it fits just fine within carry on dimensions.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mommy of 5 from Virginia on Tuesday, July 22, 2014My husband is enjoying his new bag. It works well as his gym bag that he takes to work for midday workouts. The backpack straps make it easier to carry with his briefcase and other work items. Wish it had a long strap to carry as a true duffel bag, but overall he is very happy with it.

The bottom of the duffle is slightly padded making for easy packing (holds its shape) and comfortable wear. Although dimensionally it doesn't appear to comply with carry-on standards, it sure looks like it will go on a plane no problem due to it's tapered shape (they call it a carry-on). The backpack straps are rather light, but comfortable. They also have a sternum strap which works surprisingly well. 2 nice side pockets hold alot and 1 top pocket is perfect for small items or sunglasses. All in all a great bag for the money!
