They are a basic no frill brown with a little bit of shine -great if you need a more polished look with nice dark pants. Just a little rubbing under the ankle on left outside foot but that may just be the way I tend to walk. I covered the area with a bandaid until I break it in more.Otherwise I wore them right out of the box. I have a typical 6.5 medium width foot and the size 7 fit perfectly for me. Also wore a thin sock with very comfortably. The best thing was the price-under $15.00-- cannot beat that!

Once they arrived, in addition to figuring out they were vegan leather, I found the soles/ bottoms to be rigid. They are made of hard plastic unlike Born and other clogs I have found comfortable. Also soles not as padded as Born, Timberland clogs or as I need. True to size.
