    My red shoes have a couple of spots on the "binding" that are white. Perhaps the leather has flaked off. I may have to return them because of that flaw.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    These shoes were almost perfect, but in the end, the one big flaw was not acceptable. The piping used to cover the edges of the leather around the peep toe and foot opening of the shoe was very stiff and inflexible. It cut right across the ball of my foot in the most uncomfortable way. Although I only gave the shoe five minutes of wearing, it did not seem that it would ever be comfortable for any length of time.

    These shoes are great looking and would have been perfect for my black and white dress but it was not meant to be. The length of the shoe was good but on me it was way too tight across the toes. I am a medium width. Had to send them back. Recommended for a narrow foot.
