Nice looking life vest for wakeboarding - looks like a comp vest but is coastguard approved. Glideskin type material at shoulders makes it non-irritating when worn all day. Buckles are out of the way for the occasional combat tubing run. I got size xs/s for my son who is 5'6" and about 130.

The description says Core Competition, however, this is not a comp vest. This vest is Coast Guard Approved. Much thicker and heavier than a true comp vest.

The vest pictured is not the vest you recieve, although they are very similar. You receive the class III vest, not the competition vest. I had ordered a medium vest, having a chest size around a 36-37 (hoping I can grow into it a little). Once i received the vest, it fits good if i pull the straps, but seems to have a lot of excess room on the sides and it "looks" big. I have not gotten to try it in the water however for a real test.

I am female and ordered a small or XS I can't remember, its too tight and not very adjustable and the length really restricts my ability to bend at the waist and hips which is important for my needs

We took this to the lake last weekend and all our friends wanted to try it too! It looks great, has great mobility and is very comfortable. I was concerned about the size, but measured and it fits perfectly. We are avid waterskiiers, wakeboarders and wakesurfers. This vest can't be beat.
