    When I was in Ireland, I bought Aran sweaters from the source at MUCH higher prices. This is a beautiful, warm sweater with an updated pattern and all the classic touches -- wonderful! Just wonder if the buttons must be taken off and then reattached after washing? Tag says washable. Not aware that leather washes very well... and I really hate dry cleaning.

    I expect to live in this sweater this winter. It's beautiful - very Irish/Scottish looking, and extremely warm. Love the details, and the knitted pattern is intricate and lovely to look at. However, in fairness, this is the second sweater (same kind, same size) I have ordered. I sent the first one back because it was too big, too long in length and sleeves. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The second sweater is perfect.
