Peregrine by J.G. Glover Aran Cable-Knit Cardigan Sweater - Peruvian Merino Wool (For Women)

Beautiful sweater, till I washed it. Shrank beyond recognition. Might be OK if you only dry cleaned it. And it was a little scratchy, even before washing.

I have bought woollens from PG Glover before, so I knew to buy a size down. I am a size 8 (US), 5 ft 9ins and the small fits me perfectly. love the look and feel. I'll get a lot of use out of this cardigan. Great quality.

I wear it like a coat with a scarf when I am outside. I live in a mountain community and keep a cold house. I wear it indoors and out.

This sweater was a large and was too big and I sent it back. If anyone returns a medium in the beige color, I would like one. I put this on my update. I really liked it, so let me know if a medium beige comes in as a return. Thanks.

Great warm sweater. I priced these Marino Wool Sweaters when I visited Ireland and found this cardigan to be just as good as the higher priced sweaters in Ireland. This is a top quality cardigan at a very reasonable price. I keep my house cool so I wear the sweater at home and when I go out. Like previous reviews, the buttons and button holes are rather flimsy, but it is not that much of a problem. I had received many compliments on the good looks and high quality.

Sweater is soft and warm. Wish it had pockets. It will keep me warm during the cold Ohio winters.

I love this sweater so much I wear it nearly every day. It is so wonderfully warm.

I wore this the day after I got it. I got several compliments about it's good look from folks who don't generally notice or comment on such things. The next day I wore it to an all day workshop in a cold building and was quite comfortable throughout the day. It might be short on some folks, but I am short waisted and it fits me just right. Likewise, the sleeves are a bit long on me, but turn up for a nice clean look. They will probably be just right on others. The one thing I am a bit worried about is the buttons staying on - they are somewhat loose to accommodate the bulkier nature of the sweater, but I am watching them carefully to be sure they stay put - at the original cost (not what I paid) they ought stay on. I am looking forward to wearing this a lot more in the coming winter month here in northern New England. I anticipate this being a great sweater to wear instead of a jacket in the spring and fall, too.

Sad to say the button up issue and the way it distorts the knit in front mean that this sweateris being returned. It's very cute, so I'm disappointed. It's too expensive to justify keeping with flaws.

Had to return it, was going to exchange but the next size up (14/16) would've been swimming on me. These Irish sweaters are tough to size. Short on me but may be fine for someone else. Good price, though.
