    The fit is good. The XL fit just as needed. I usually wear a 46 Brooks Brothers suit jacket and a 34-35 dress shirt sleeve for size comparison. I received complements the first wearing and did go on a bit about the good deal at STP. Wearing it makes me want to Go to New England. If you can buy this for what I paid, get one.

    Lovely looking sweater with great looking matching color suede shoulders and elbow patches, well, forearm patches (sleeves a bit long, sand I have long arms). Unfortunately I am wool sensitive and this sweater made my skin crawl with itchiness... Returning to STP

    Not what I was expecting. The wool is quite itchy and the collar too tight, which makes for an unpleasant combination. I order a medium, which is usually fine for me, but this sweater was much too long and baggy. I really can't picture a good use for it--too hot for the office, too itchy and ill fitting. Sending it back.

    After all the great reviews, I was looking forward to getting this sweater as something that I could wear outdoors as well as in good company. I was very dissapointed in this. Although it does look good, several of the seams were not even stitched together. I had to pull out the sewing machine to make this presentable. After about 8 wearings, a hole has developed near the bottom. Now it is relegated to being a layer of warmth when I hunt, albeit a pricey layer. Must have slipped through quality control as it was obviously a "second."

    If you are looking for a commando sweater, this isn't it. The sleeves are so long, a person would have to be eight foot tall to fill them. It is abviously a common sweater that has had patches added. UGH! The elbow patches are at my wrists. [...] Internet shopping has its hazards. I will not be shopping here again.
