Perfect weight

Bought this coat for my husband. Couldn't be more pleased with the cut, cloth, style, and quality. Beautiful.

I was hoping to use this jacket in temperatures down to 20 deg F. The appeal of wool and the appearance of the grey herringbone pattern attracted me to the jacket - as well as the great price! I ordered both a medium and large to be certain to get a good fit for my 40 inch chest. The large fit just right. Unfortunately, the jacket is thin and not warm enough for what I was looking for. If you hold it up you can even see light through it. So, I ended up returning both jackets. But, the jacket is very good quality and very attractive. The large jacket was a darker charcoal color, which I preferred over the lighter grey of the medium. The color shown on the STP site shows the lighter color. If someone is looking for a dressy jacket and not as concerned about staying warm to 20 deg F, this may be the jacket for you.

I give this jacket to my friend as Christmas gift. He said he likes it and the size is Ok. I bought Midium size. So, generally it is fine. The retail price is over 450. I assumed that it is a highly quaility jacket. That's why I gave it to my friend.but I got it very low price.

The floppy collar makes it a bit cardigan-like, but it fits well and is very comfortable. Light weight but warm. Very well made.

Great tailoring. Collar is a little weird but you'll get use to it. Very well made and should last a very long time. Made in Britain and not in China like everything these days. It is not a very heavy coat. Not for very cold weather.

This is one timeless design jacket any man would appreciate. Either you are hopeless classic style bystander or looking for something to add to your distinctive style, this jacket is for you. It is so versatile by design, you can wear it on casual Friday over your favorite cardigan or you can use on weekend for many purposes like going out to hang with your friends or taking you wife to the supermarket to get groceries. It will fit the bill like nothing else.

I bought both the brown and the dark gray. It is a genuine Harris Tweed. So at this price, it is a bargain. Construction is high quality. As mentioned elsewhere, every other company seems to build them in China now. Kudos to STP for still supporting and bringing quality garments made in Britain. I am not sure how long this will last as it seems every factory is moving to the Far East to make a profit.

This jacket is the epitome of good taste, and function as well. It was priced fairly, but alas; it's decidedly British, ans due to that fact, it zips up from the left hand side. Virtually impossible to zip up despite any ambidextrous talents, or steadfast will power. I envisioned myself struggling with the infenal fastener, and ripping the garment to tiny shreds. Instead, discretion was the better part of vanity as well as valor, and the beautiful jacket was returned.
